Assistant Principal 

Jasmin West was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from high school, she pursued higher education with a deep passion for learning and development. Jasmin holds an Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Education, a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education, a Master's in Urban Planning and Regional Development, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership. Jasmin began her career in education 13 years ago, driven by a commitment to ensure that every child can learn and thrive. Her journey included a variety of roles in Douglas County, Clayton County, and Fulton County School Districts, where she has served as a classroom teacher, assistant administrator, and IB Coordinator. Jasmin has also been actively involved in developing programs that enhance equity and broaden student exposure to experiences beyond traditional education. As a lifelong learner, Jasmin is dedicated to shaping an educational path where both students and staff are fully supported and continuously inspired to grow. Her approach to education is rooted in patience, tenacity, compassion, and enthusiasm—qualities she strives to embody each day. Outside of her professional life, Jasmin enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, one of whom attends Fulton County Schools. She values building strong relationships with families through both her work and community involvement. Jasmin is excited to join Ison Springs Elementary as Assistant Principal and looks forward to working with the faculty and families to help every student reach their full potential.
